Waterfall Paradise at the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia

Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest national park in Southern Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park was founded in 1949 and is located in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are 16 different lakes spread all over 300 square kilometers, which is situated between 2 counties. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide.

Sea of Stars, Maldives

Pinpricks of light on the shore seem to mirror stars above on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives.
The biological light, or bioluminescence, in the waves is the product of marine microbes called phytoplankton, and now scientists think they know how some of these life-forms create their brilliant blue glow.

Fly Geyser, also known as Fly Ranch Geyser is a small geothermal geyser which is located approximately 20 miles north of Gerlach, in Washoe County, Nevada. Fly Geyser is located on the private Fly Ranch, owned by Todd Jaksick. The Geyser is not entirely natural phenomenon, and was accidentally created in 1916 during well drilling. Unfortunately, Fly Geyser is not open to the public, but hopefully that may change in the future.
